The hotel is cool and fairly clean, has stunningly beautiful views of the ocean. The location is magnificent and ideal, 2 miles from Main Street. What's more, it's not too far from the heart of the city.

It was clean, I will be back. The location was marvellous and stunning for walking around a large double - jointed pier. Furthermore, the area was shopping.

The location was marvellous, with restaurants and bars adjacent to the hotel. Actually the room was brand-new and bright with a peculiar shower, see view plus 2 queen-sized beds.

The Shore Hotel is very new but seems to have already ironed out any bugs. The staff are very friendly and co-operative. It is clean and very stylish in a minimalist way. The rooms are very comfortable and being new the bathrooms are excellent.
The valet parking is in the car park under the hotel which throws a lot of people off that pull up at the front and walk into reception. They would be better off managing this in the traditional way.

The architecture and the location were both excellent.
The hotel is only 2 months old, and the staff lack "finesse". There is no bar or food facilities. The "ocean view room" requires one to stand at the sharp end of a triangular balcony to see the ocean (but the result is a very fine view). Apparently, only the "premium ocean view" room gives one an ocean view from within the room.

I thought it was a beautiful hotel with an excellent staff. The room was so crisp and clean with beautiful modern decor. It was conveniently located across the street from the Santa Monica Pier and beaches while also being close to shopping and dining at the 3rd Street Promenade. The price, while high, is in keeping with the prices of other comparable hotels in the area.
Since this hotel had just opened a few weeks before my visit, they had not opened the restaurant/bar yet. This was somewhat inconvenient but with so may restaurants near by it was not a problem.

Great location - Modern furnishings - Qiuet.
The "queen" beds were much smaller than the queen bed we have at home. We enquired about it and were told that they were definitely queen which we found hard to believe. The room was very cold until we asked them to fix the heating.

We loved exploring the aquarium and walked the entire promenade, enjoying shops and great food. The outdoor area by the pool was perfect. Just a heads up, expect a fee for parking, but overall, we had a fantastic time!

The heated pool was super relaxing, and the free bike rentals were a fun way to explore the area. We had fine sunset views right from our room. The patio space was huge, perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather.

Location.
Beds are rather small (narrow) thus making for poor sleep.
